Visiting Family and Friends Tips
• Don't over-schedule social activities!
• Double-up social events with multiple family members or social circles.
• Schedule alone time!
• Consider booking a motel or hotel room if you can afford it.
• Before you arrive, make your schedule clear to those on your must-see list (and those who think they should be on the list).
• For new parents host, or ask someone to host, a Meet-the-Baby party to avoid being overwhelmed by non-stop visits.
• Just because they want to hold the baby, doesn’t mean they get to hold the baby.
