Rockin’ Resources for Traveling Parents

It’s always exciting when I get feedback about how this site helps traveling families! Over the past couple of months, a few websites have written about TravelMamas.com and I wanted to share their stories and tell you about the rockin’ products and services these sites offer to traveling parents.
Recently Bye Bye with Baby wrote a post entitled, TravelMamas – a GREAT Online Resource! Bye Bye with Baby is a website and iPhone app that lists thousands of places to stop when you are out and about with your baby or child, from nursing rooms and diaper changing stations to family-friendly restaurants and urgent care centers. Sounds like Bye Bye with Baby is a pretty great too!
Another sweet resource for road-tripping parents is Mom Maps. This iPhone app is a fun way to find family-friendly sites while on-the-road. Easily find parks, restaurants, indoor play areas and more reviewed by moms (including some by yours truly)!
Check out this interview on the Boingo blog of…guess who? Me! Need Tips on Traveling with Kids? Ask the Travel Mama. Have you heard of Boingo yet? According to their website, “Boingo is the world’s largest network of Wi-Fi hotspots. We make it easy to get online at more than 125,000 hotspots worldwide – including Starbucks®, hundreds of airports, and thousands of hotels.” Boingo provided me with a free Boingo Wi-Fi account, which works seemlessly! Ahhh…sweet connection to the web wherever I go!
This Tours4Fun article asks, Hey Travel Mama! Do You Want to Travel with Your Kids and Stay Sane? Of course you do, right?! One way to travel sane with kids is to let someone else do the hard stuff (the planning, research, and scheduling) so you can do the fun stuff (the playing and touring!). Tours4Fun is THE online source for travel tours and vacation packages. Find a tour that fits your family’s needs by type (land, water, air, or independent), price range, length and destination city.
